4.5 Star Review by Ashley
If you're a fan of S.E. Hall's Evolve series, then you know all about the crew and if you don't know what I'm talking about go look it up and dive in. The Crew holds a special place in my heart and I was super excited to read about the next generation- the crew kids. The Squad.
What can I say about JT Kendrick...he is Dane 2.0 but with a hearty dose of Sawyer thrown into the mix. Strong willed, protective, sexy, passionate and stubborn. And when he met his match in one fiery redhead, Bellamy, it was game on. Only problem is, she is Brynn's best friend- that makes her untouchable. But this is JT we're talking about- if he wants something he's gonna move heaven and earth to get it. And go get it he does.
This man- and he is all man- made me swoon and smile all over the place with his take no prisoners attitude. I loved the small intimate moments and the big gestures- because he wanted to and because he could- to please his woman. Did her ever please her- in and out of the bedroom. And she gave it back to him tenfold. Bellamy is just awesome. She took to this group and embraced it with an open arms and an open heart.
Gah! These two were so perfect for each other. This book was charming and full of wit, sass and humor. Family and friendship- two things that are big in S.E. Hall's work played a big part in the bulk of this story. Embody was a great start to what is sure to be an fantastic new series from an author whose work I just adore.
