Finding out my husband, my best friend, only had months to live was devastating. Sitting out under the star-filled sky, listening to him wish on star after star, night after night, almost killed me. He never wished to get better. He wished for me to be happy. He wished for me to find the strength to move on. I told him his wishes were pointless, because happiness wouldnât exist without him. I found out soon after he passed away that I was pregnant. But I had no idea his final wish would bring me something I never thought Iâd find again.

One Last Wish by Aurora Rose Reynolds
Brittany's rating: 3 of 5 stars I had really high hopes for this book. After reading the synopsis, I just thought that this book would tear me up, and it didn't. I was very disappointed, I was ready for an ugly cry. From the synopsis, I was expecting the book to have more of Gabe and Aubrey's relationship in it. It would've made the book a whole lot more emotional if it had. I was expecting to fall in love with Gabe and Aubrey and then watch as Denver puts all her pieces back together, but that's not what this book was. We don't see any of Aubrey's marriage to Gabe. All you see of the two of them together is when he asks her out. That bummed me out so much. Other than that, I did love Denver, but I feel like Aubrey's reluctance to start dating again was forced. Which I guess it kind of was. So what I mean to say, is that Aubrey's reluctance to start dating Denver seemed forced. I had really high hopes and expectations for this book and it fell flat. It held such potential. It could've been the ugly cry of the year. But I never shed a tear. View all my reviews
