Summer romance meets 90's nostalgia meets Italy...no brainer, I'll take two! And while Say Yes is a hair darker than some of Kandi Steiner's other works, it was still angsty and had me hooked from the beginning.

I liked Harley. She was determined to make the most of her time abroad for the summer. But somewhere along the line, her confidence and quest for perfection in all things, took the feeling out of it. Enter Liam. Her opposite, and the definition of a broody artist. He was all edgy and dark with an attitude and aloofness that did nothing but irritate Harley.

He wasn't taking no for an answer, he was going to help her find her spark again. And she was going to hold him accountable. It was supposed to be fun. No strings attached. Liam found a And for a while it worked. Harley found the feeling in creating again. Liam found a reason to be in the light. I think perhaps my favorite thing is the way Liam tried to get Harley to see herself through his eyes. To see the beauty in the flaws and the messy that life can be. But when those dreaded feelings started creeping in, neither were left unscathed.

The clothing, the music, the art, the world events, the sunsets that left me feeling like I was washed in gold contributed to this warmth that wouldn't let me put this book down. Harley and Liam's whirlwind summer romance was passionate and gut wrenching. And that ending...oh my heart...yes- just yes!
