Another fantastic read written by Margaret McHeyzer! A Life Less Broken will completely captivate you!

            Allyn Sommers was the victim of a very violent rape and assault, living to tell about it. She lives a very, very sheltered life, never leaving her house and never letting her panic button leave her side. When Allyn sees a story on television about three girls who were held captive for years and escaped, she was amazed. Their doctor, Dr. Dominic Shriver, is the one who helped them all heal.

            Allyn calls this doctor, desperate for help, desperate to get her life back. When she suffers from a panic attack over the phone, just from talking to the receptionist, Dr. Shriver knows he has to help her.

            For the first few days, Dominic sits outside on her porch, talking to her through the door. They gradually make progress until one day, they share a kiss. Allyn is terrified of starting a relationship, of being touched intimately again. Can Dominic break through her hard outer shell and make her realize that she’s beautiful and he won’t ever hurt her?

            This book was amazing! I beta read for her, so when I only got little bits at a time, I would freak out. This book is an amazing love story, telling the tale of a broken woman who finds herself and through the help of one hot psychologist, heals and learns to live again.

            The story line flows amazingly. The descriptions are fantastic, the love story is sweet. I can’t get enough of Margaret’s writing! Every little bit, every word, every paragraph, I drink it in like it’s my last drop of water.

            Five stars, once again, for you, Margaret McHeyzer! Continue writing! I can’t wait for more!
