Jemima was bold and sassy and doing what she could to turn her life around on her terms. Nikki's too after the mess she pulled her out of. And one interview with the town's black sheep had her throwing caution to the wind and following her instincts where Raif was concerned. I liked Raif. He was so much more than the stigma he carried because of his family. Kind. Thoughtful. Sentimental. Generous. A touch wild. And gone for Jemima. So much that he agreed to her plan to keep Nikki safe. But somewhere between the stolen moments of sexiness, dodging bully brothers and dangerous jobs, Jemima and Raif's fake marriage changed into real feelings.
