Go ahead—underestimate me.

“My patience is an illusion, and I don’t have to prove that you’re mine—you should already know.”

The Ballerina
His once formidable and unpredictable storm shifts with the turn of our relationship. I’ve noticed that I can put a stop to the darkness that the storm brings, but I haven’t managed to avoid the strike. The severity of the storm has impacted my life vastly, and I won’t walk out of it unscathed. He’s followed me as I’ve chased my dreams, but can he catch me when I fall?

The Storm
She’s used to keeping the world at bay, and she has kept her world exclusively to herself, but I won’t allow it any longer. Up until now I’ve lived a life for myself, but my situation has since changed, and her desirable ember has burnt a rift through me. Regardless of what has been thrown at us, I will promise her the stars.

This novel contains mature themes, strong language, and sexual situations. It is intended for adult readers.

Four Star Review by Ashley

I fell hard and fast for Noah & Heather in It's a Date and have been anxiously awaiting their return. You have to read the first book in the series or you will be lost (don't worry, it is totally worth the read). Epps and Brummer once again captivated me with the balance to their writing. It was equal parts charming, heartbreaking, hopeful, funny and sweet. To say I devoured this book is an understatement- I was late for a meeting because I didn't want to put it down.

A Winter's Date picks up right where the first book ends- with Heather in London chasing her dream and Noah chasing both of his. It didn't take long for heartbreak to hit. My heart was in my throat when the depth of the tragedy was revealed. What I loved was that it brought Noah and Heather closer together when it could've pulled them apart. They turned to each other and their love only grew. Noah's patience and gentleness sealed the deal for me in this one. He was such a giver when it came to Heather but he also knew when to push her. And Heather, really came into her own and knew when to push Noah right back. No more so then when she stood by his side as he took a leap that terrified him. There is a great give and take in their relationship that makes it very relateable and easy to root for them. And as their love grew the chemistry and heat factor escalated as well. WHEW- these two really know how to steam up the sheets, and shower....

I absolutely LOVED Noah's surprise for Heather. He went all out and gave her something she had always wanted but never really thought she could have. And he involved everyone who mattered them them; their family. They were all there Dani, Brannon, Coen, Dillen and Lana. It was so fun to share in their joy and exuberance. Just as things are looking up and that Noah and Heather are about to have the happiness they've worked so hard for another tragedy befalls the group and leaves them all reeling.

With all that I loved about A Winter's Date there were a few times where the text seemed a bit repetitive. That being said, it didn't detract from the overall enjoyment of the book. My heart was pounding through the last bit of the story. WOW! I am still breathless and heartbroken and not sure how everyone is going to fare going forward. I am now biding my time until the next book in this series will release.
