I feel like I've been waiting forever for Absolution to arrive and let me tell you, it was so worth the wait. Thank goodness Autumn Grey picked up right where the last one left off because my heart was in my throat and I just had to know what happened! It didn't take long for my emotions to start going all over the place as Grace figured out the path she wanted to take. The turmoil she was in was palpable. No matter what someone was going to get hurt, herself included. But I loved that she chose herself, her future, her happiness. And put in the work to make it happen. And, I'm not gonna say who, but he was just so dreamy! I loved how he gave Grace the time she needed but didn't let her get too far away. And while she was working on herself, so was he. He had a lot to overcome, not just from the accident but from the choices he had been making in his life. Absolution, heck this entire series, put me through the ringer. It tackled a few things that I tend to shy away from when I read but the way Autumn Grey went about it, made Grace's story impossible to turn away from. There were tears. There were laughs. There was fear and hope. Friendships and family. Forgiveness and redemption. And love. So much love. And that ending...it was a long time coming, but so so perfect.
