Addict was a captivating book, with a heavy theme, full of violence and just scenes that had me cringing at times. I felt so bad at times that I wanted to cry for some of the girls that were in this book. Amorette got caught up in this mess and not by her liking. She woke up one day in a cage surrounded by other women in the same situation. When the evil men would come around and pick and choose one of them, Amorette decided to stand up and defend the girl(s) and get the beating and etc., instead of the other girls.

One day, she was on the verge of getting almost killed when one of the four brothers came by to this side of the compound and found Amorette fighting for her life and he saw something in her that he just knew he had to save her. He took her to a safe place and gave her an ultimatum but none that involved her going back home because she had already seen too much and knew too much so she was a liability.

She was now stuck with four men and she either had to work for them or go back to the hell that one of the brothers took her from. Easy peasey right! I sure as heck wouldn't go back to that hell hole that almost got her killed! Amorette starts forming bonds with the four men but it seems like she starts to form closer bonds with two of them more so than the other two.

What will happen in this world of corruption, trafficking and all kinds of bad shenanigans?? I can't wait to find out. I absolutely loved Amorette for her strength, courage and her feistiness. She really had in her to do whatever it took when it came to survival tactics.
