Noah and Willow know not to mix business with pleasure. They've both been burned in the past, he thinks she's too young, and she definitely shouldn't hook up with her boss. So, they don't. Instead, they build a friendship, while fighting an obvious attraction.

But when Noah's called back East after a natural disaster that threatens his home and the loved ones he left behind, he's forced to face his past with Willow by his side.

Will their turbulent pasts hold them back from giving into fate? Or will the two of them realize that they've been each other's calm before the storm?

Four Star Review by Ashley

I fell for Noah pretty hard in Man of My Dreams (which you don't have to read to grasp this one), so I was really excited for him to get a real shot at love and happiness. And while After the Storm is his story, for me, it was Willow who stole the show. I was rooting for her from the first time I met this fiery woman with the power to bring Noah to his knees (and senses).

I loved that she was a real and very relateable character. Her insecurities, while frustrating, made her that much more appealing. Here was a woman who essentially had it all; beauty, brains, sex appeal and a kind giving heart, but was fixated on the one thing she wasn't- typical woman. But there was sweet and compassionate Noah to help her see herself through his eyes.

Gah! That man- I loved that he was just a good guy. He didn't have a crazy, troubled life. Yes, he'd lived through his share of heartbreak but it didn't make him bitter and jaded; it made him better. It made him the man he needed to be not just for himself but for Willow. I liked that no matter how hard they tried, neither Willow or Noah could keep denying the pull towards one another. Their banter was as light and as easy as their connection. When they connected between the sheets, or some other surface, it was hot! Those two had chemistry in spades. And when Willow would get lost in her head, Noah was there to ground her. But when tragedy strikes a little too close to home, it was Willow who had Noah's back.

My head is still reeling from the emotional roller coaster that Faith Andrews took me on. I laughed, rolled my eyes, fanned myself, swooned and shook my kindle in frustration! There were those moments that made me think to myself, did she write that? Yes, she did! Even the cast of secondary characters, Blaze and Sloane played a big part in helping Noah and Willow see the light. Oh yes- that epilogue was so wonderfully Willow and Noah, giving, full of hope and unconditional love, perfection
