![]() Does wanting to slap the hell out of Brody Kelly make me a bad person? How about setting his hair on fire? No, I'm not a psycho. Yes, I AM angry. See, a year ago, my sweet and sexy firefighter boyfriend and I broke up over something extremely ridiculous. We'd been together since we were sophomores in high school, but that was the end of that. Almost twelve years of that, mind you. The looks he gives me tell me he still wants me. Our latest encounter has me thinking he's trying to win me back. But I'm not willing to give in so easily. I don't know why he used our argument as an excuse to break up, but I'm going to find out. I've lived in Serenity Point all my life and have connections and I’m not afraid to use them to get to the bottom of things. What I am afraid of is finding something I won’t be able to handle. He used to call me his Always and Forever. But the secrets he’s keeping might tear us apart for good. Review by Lorena ![]() Harper Bentley's books always leave me swooning and I just love, absolutely love her books! She leaves me with so much angst and determination to continue reading her stories because they somehow captivate me profusely and leave me utterly breathless. Brody Kelly and Piper Knowlton have been a couple since they were in high school, so basically they are high school sweethearts but one night out of the blue, Brody starts acting weird, really tuned out and just out of the blue tells Piper that he wants to break up with her. Piper is left shattered and heartbroken because Brody has been her life. She thought they would eventually marry and have a family together but it seems like he didn't have the same idea. Brody has done something shameful and instead of having Piper hear about it and/or break up with him, he took the plunge and broke up with her. It took Piper literally a year to find out why Brody broke up with her and boy was she pissed when she found out why. But Brody has had enough and he wants his Piper back and he will stop at nothing to get the woman he loves back. He is determined to win her love one way or another. The question is, can Piper forgive him and move on? Is what happened really true or is it a story that was made up just to keep them apart? Apparently there are certain people that don't want Piper and Brody together and will stop at nothing to get that successfully taken care of and that person(s) succeeded in separating them. Brody and Piper have been miserable for the past year but Piper has decided to forget and move on, but Brody isn't going to let that happen. He's determined and is going to explain to Piper what exactly happened that fateful night and he just hopes she can forgive and forget. Easier said than done, but Piper is willing to give their love a second chance, but just when Brody thinks everything is back to normal, Piper springs on him that they can't just jump back into the relationship, they need to ease themselves back, except she didn't tell him that last part and Brody left pissed and heartbroken. Piper had a lot of groveling to do to get her man back and some truths come to light and the revelations are shocking but it was bound to happen. I was hooked with Brody and Piper. Their life was very interesting to say when they did hook back up together (if you get the gist of it)!! Their love life was just out of this world phenomenal and it certainly made your panties wet and your cheeks pink at reading those scenes. Totally 5 star read!!
