I just love reading how the brother's best friend falls for the little sister, especially when they fall in love so young. Briar has always loved Asher ever since she can remember. And this girl what I loved about her was that she wasn't afraid to tell him or show him how she felt, regardless of their age difference. She knew that it was wrong and he could get into trouble but she just wanted him no matter what. Well Asher disappears after the one fateful night when he finally gave in to his desires and kissed Briar. It was nothing more than just an innocent kiss, but a kiss that would cost him nonetheless. Briar is hurt because Asher just disappeared and no one knew his whereabouts. But three years later he reappears and he is angrier than ever. He believes that Briar was out to get him and get him she did! Or so he thought. But as much as Asher wanted to hate her, he just couldn't not especially after seeing her all grown up and beautiful. He seemed to be toying with her, he was hot and cold with her but Briar was just as in love with him now as she was when she was fourteen years old. They're grown now and she knows that this time things could be right but she was a little nervous about what her brother would think if he were to find out about them. Asher and Briar were seeing each other in secret because they didn't want her brother to find out. But what will happen when everything comes out in the light??? WHAT!!! You don't want to miss out on reading this book. I was mesmerized, completely hooked with the storyline. I can guarantee you that you will love Briar and Asher as much I did! Total 5 star read!
