![]() From New York Times and USA Today Bestseller Vi Keelandcomes a steamy new standalone novel about a rockstar. Or two. Dimpled smile of a boy Hard body of a man Sings like an angel Fucks like the devil I was stuck between a rock(star) and a hard place. At fifteen, his poster hung on my bedroom wall. At twenty-five his body hovered over mine. Every girl’s fantasy became my reality. I was dating a rockstar. Yet I was slowly falling for another man. The problem was—the two men—they shared a tour bus. Flynn Beckham was the opening act. Dylan Ryder was the headliner. What happens when the opening act begins to shine so bright, it seems to dim everything else in its wake? I’ll tell you what happens. Things get ugly. Review by Lorena ![]() This book really hooked me from page 1 and took me on a wonderful ride of music, love, betrayal and lust. It was a downright fantastic read! Flynn -- what can I say about Flynn other than the fact that he was such a compassionate, wonderful, caring and lovable man. He had all the qualities a woman could ask for. He loved his sister and niece and protected them with everything he had, there was nothing that he wouldn't do for them. So when he meets Lucky he instantly feels an attraction towards her and he knows he has to get to know her. Now Lucky is just that....LUCKY! To have two hot as hell rockstars at your beck-n-call, crawling at your feet must be such a good feeling right! Both men fighting for her attention and love. Lucky has always been in love with Ryder, or so she thinks she has. Now Ryder is about 10 years older than her so he's a pretty experienced guy. You would think that he would take things a little more serious and feel like Lucky is the girl for him. She's way younger than him and she's one hot little thing. Ryder starts noticing that Flynn is interested in his girl so he starts taking their relationship at a more serious level. Except that Lucky isn't feeling like they need to rush their relationship. They've only been together for a little less than a year and she feels like she's not ready for that big leap. And another reason why she's being so distant with Ryder is because Flynn came in the picture and she is starting to have feelings for him. How conflicting to have two hot men lusting after you! Now Lucky finds herself in this dilemma and starts questioning her love for Ryder. She's been in love with Ryder since she was a teenager -- having his posters up on her bedroom wall and who would have thought that she would finally land the man of her dreams right! Well I guess that was short-lived because when Flynn came in the picture and started hanging out and helping out Ryder's band, it gave him and Lucky the opportunity to spend more time together and get to know each other better. Lucky noticed a big difference between Ryder and Flynn. Ryder was more of a man who was into himself and what benefited him. Flynn was more the type of guy who looked out for others before he looked out for himself. Who will Lucky pick????? Such a hard choice, but in the end it's what the heart wants and she'll have to go with that. This was a beautifully romantic and one hell of a triangle love story. Very conflicting and it was hard at times trying to decide who Lucky should stay with in the end. But she knew what she wanted and she chose wisely in the end. Two thumbs up for Beat -- I love these rockstar romance novels especially when there are more than just two people involved in love. It sucks that one will end up hurt and betrayed in the end, but you can't have them both right!! Unless they're both into that type of love! 5 star read!!
