Kat Singleton did an amazing job with this book and with the characters as well. I can honestly say that I enjoyed it very much and couldn't put it down, not even for a second. I was invested the whole time! From the moment I read the synopsis, I just knew I would get a kick out of reading Black Ties and White Lies. Talk about forbidden much! I don't know about you, but if I dated a man and it didn't work out between us and there was no love lost, and a brother comes along and I find out later on that he has always had a thing for me...well damn, I certainly wouldn't shut that down! A sassy heroine and an alpha hero who totally are meant to be together! I would so totally recommend this book in a heartbeat!! When writing stories she strives to write an authentically raw love story for her characters. She feels that no book is complete without some angst and emotional turmoil before the characters can live out their happily ever after.
