Parker Minelli, a fitness trainer and cover model, is every woman's dream. His Boston accent, chiseled abs and easy-going nature have women flocking to him. But when he meets author Abby, whose brains are bigger than his biceps, he sets out to prove that he's more than just a pretty face. Abby is thrilled—and a little breathless—when Parker agrees to work with her on her next book release. However, they soon discover that while opposites may attract, that doesn't mean that they can overcome their differences. Especially when Parker's supermodel ex-girlfriend reappears. Will they be able to see the big picture and accept each other as they are, or will their differences close the book on their chance at love? Review by Lorena Okay, the first thing I always notice are the book covers and that's one of the first things that attracts me to the book. If I like the book cover, then I go on to read the synopsis and from there I decide if I want read the book or not, I am so guilty of this, but I'm sure a lot of us are! Well Parker, a.k.a., Boston was one sexy, smart, suave guy who was also a model. Abby seeked him to be the model of her book cover and from then on....things just got a little heated between Abby and Boston. I loved how they flirted and teased each other, I thought that was freaking awesome. I never expected Abby to be that flirtatious, but damn she really blew me away with how she talked to Boston. I thought she would only have guts to express herself in her books, I never thought she would actually give Boston a visual of what she was writing and it made me blush how they would flirt with each other. Abby was not a very confident girl and didn't think she was good enough for Boston. He was perfection, he was beautiful and he belonged only with models. Why would he bother with a simple girl like Abby? But Abby wasn't just any simple girl, she was beautiful as well, she just didn't feel it because she wasn't thin like a model. But all models are not beautiful and the really skinny ones are not beautiful, they look sick to me actually. Boston didn't think he was good enough for Abby because she was smart, had a degree from Harvard and used to date a guy that was just like her and he never thought that he could compete with that. So these two were constantly back and forth and instead of just telling each other how they felt, they were skirting around each other until it got to the point where things got out of hand and they were just assuming instead of talking about it. This book was freaking fantastic! I absolutely loved Abby and Boston. They weren't that much different from each other. They were both smart and beautiful. One with a degree and one without but that still didn't mean that he wasn't an intelligent person and my god, I could just imagine what he looked like in a suit. If he already was HOT wearing regular clothes, I could imagine with a suit (yummy)! This book definitely made me stay up all night! This is the first book I read from this author and she sure didn't disappoint me. I am definitely going to continue reading her books because I absolutely adored this book! 4.5 stars!
