She’s finally living her dream. He’s a struggling single dad. Will their fiery connection burn out, or warm their hearts long into the future?

Pippa Davis is proud of her independence. Managing her epilepsy as she runs an inclusive bookstore is a dream come true, and she’s dedicated to giving back all she can to make the world a better place. So when a teenage customer needs help with a potentially embarrassing situation, she races to grab the girl’s father… only to nearly knock the gruff man off his feet.

Former Navy SEAL Mason Wright struggles with priorities. And the last thing he wants is a relationship, even if the curvy Latina who hit it off with his daughter lights him up. But when the gorgeous woman’s shop is vandalized, his instincts kick in to protect and serve.

Falling hard and fast for the kindhearted soldier, Pippa’s terrified her condition will mean she’s a burden. And just when Mason starts taking their intimacy seriously, he accidentally fails his responsibility to his kid and pulls away, pained by his behavior.

Can two perfectly matched people find the courage to fall in love?

Brave Love is the steamy seventh book in the Shattered Cove romance series. If you like heart-pounding crushes, dramatic twists, and brooding heroes, then you’ll adore A. M. Kusi’s ardent tale.

4.5 Heart Review by Ashley

I'm not sure how A.M. Kusi pulls more emotion out of me with every book they write but Brave Love managed to punch me in the chest over and over again. And I'm not even mad about it.

When I say I love Pippa I mean L-O-V-E LOVE her. She is the epitome of badass female. Independent. Business owner. Resilient. Compassionate. Thoughtful. Inclusive. More than that she owned who she was. Faults, fears and all. And she wouldn't let anyone push her over. Even handsome, protective single dad, Mason.

Mason: broody with a capital B. He's been in the periphery of the other books in the series and seeing this grump meet his match was a true delight. Especially as he's trying his best to navigate the changing dynamic with his teenage daughter, Aspen. And the feelings Pippa stirs in him. It was when some incidents went down at Pippa's store that put Aspen in harms way, that things started to turn for them.

I enjoyed seeing Pippa rely on Mason, let him in. It was such a change for the woman who had been alone for so long. It was the relationship forged between Aspen and Pippa that melted my heart, Mason's too. But when an unexpected connection between them is brought to light, things got sticky.

Whew! Talk about a whirlwind. Pippa and Mason's unlikely romance tackled so many issues. Individuality. Respect. Inclusivity. Forgiveness. But at its core, this is a book about love in all its beauty. And that ending has me ready to head back to Shattered Cove!
