If you haven't read Hook, stop reading right now and go one-click it because if you haven't read it, you will be lost. Now...I'm still waiting for my heart to stop racing. This book had it all! Drama, fear, hurt, danger and more twists than I could keep track of. I really liked how much the Daniel situation changed both Marco and Emily. They were living on emotions and those feelings carried over into the choices they were making. I absolutely LOVED getting some Marco POV. There was so much more to that sexy Italian than what you saw on the surface. He felt deeply and loved wholeheartedly. When he lost both of those things he had to channel his anger and pain into something, anything. Ugh, my heart broke for for them. They were fighting for the same thing just on different sides and with a different end game in mind. And Emily! this woman never ceased to surprise me. She has to be one of the strongest female's I've read. The lengths she was willing to go to to see justice served had me on the edge of my seat. I can't get into all the details because Burn is something you just have to read and experience for yourself. Yes you will yell and throw your kindle. Yes you will want to shake Elisabeth Grace for doing this to your head and your heart. Yes you will want a hug and a glass of wine. But most of all you will want so much more of Emily and Marco.
