But somehow Kristen Proby took two people who couldn't be more different if they tried and gave them a love story that was humorous and heartfelt. I really liked Aubrey. She was ready for the next phase of her life to start. A new job in a new town and a new home. Too bad when she got there, someone was waiting with not so open arms. Oh that Zane. A good guy who got swept up in the glitz of Hollywood and lost a bit of who he really was. I liked how Aubrey showed Zane a side to life that had been missing. Thoughtfulness. Realness. His world was full of flashy and fake so Aubrey's honesty was refreshing. It opened his eyes and made him realize he wanted more than the superficial life he'd been living. Of course it wouldn't be a With Me in Seattle book without a girls night. And let me tell you, this one did not disappoint. Full of sweetness and steam, Aubrey and Zane's opposites attract romance made me laugh and swoon and left me wanting more. About the Author Kristen was born and raised in a small resort town in her beloved Montana. In her mid-twenties, she decided to stretch her wings and move to the Pacific Northwest, where she made her home for more than a dozen years.
During that time, Kristen wrote many romance novels and joined organizations such as RWA and other small writing groups. She spent countless hours in workshops, and more mornings than she can count up before the dawn so she could write before going to work. She submitted many manuscripts to agents and editors alike, but was always told no. In the summer of 2012, the self-publishing scene was new and thriving, and Kristen had one goal: to publish just one book. It was something she longed to cross off of her bucket list.
