![]() Life is made up of choices. Single choices like bricks laid out in a path. A path that leads to your future. At twenty four years old, I would have never guessed I would be stuck between two men—two men from opposite spectrums of the universe. Their lives, their worlds, their demeanor is as different as the darkest of nights and the lightest of days. I love them both, but I have to choose. There is only one choice I can make. And I choose forever. 4 Star Review by Ashley I was expecting more angst in the follow up to Torn Between Two (which you absolutely have to read first) but I wasn't expecting the slaying Mia Kayla gave me. Thank goodness Choosing Forever picks up in the next heartbeat from the first book because I absolutely had to know what happened. Sam continued to frustrate me with her back and forth. But she couldn't deny her heart, even when it loved two people. Two men who couldn't be more different if they tried. Hawke with all his faults and fears. Josh with his kindness and devotion. Sam's relationship with both men was so different but that didn't diminish her feelings. It didn't mean she loved one more than the other. Each relationship was unique and both men gave her something she needed. I NEEDED her to make up her mind! I let out an audible sigh of relief when it seemed she had made up her mind until the unexpected happened... I can't say too much without giving all the goods away but I can tell you this. Choosing Forever took more twists and turns than I expected. It was a whole lot of sweet, a touch sexy, and dare I say a smidgen dark in places? I enjoyed reading something different from Mia Kayla. This duet was unexpected, beautiful in it's complexity and totally knocked me for a loop. About the Author Mia Kayla is a New Adult/Contemporary Romance writer who lives in Illinois.
Most of the time, she can be caught on the train with her nose in a book sporting a cheeky grin because the main characters finally get their happily-ever-after at the end. She loves reading about happy endings but has more fun writing them.
