These right here are the best kind to read, they fulfill you, they immerse themselves in you because you know they're forbidden love and you know something drastic is about to go down! Lisa Suzanne did a superb job with this book. Talk about melting my heart in one sitting!! I loved everything about this book, what was there not to like!! A beautiful, neglected wife and a gorgeous and single CEO (bad combination, I know) {{chuckles}} but shit, these are the best damn books to read. I know these two together will be cause of destruction, but damn was this book hot!! What happens when you live a life where your equal partner is not there physically, mentally or emotionally for you? Obviously you become sad, depressed, lonely and even though you aren't looking elsewhere thinking that your relationship somehow will eventually get back on track right! But sometimes things happen without you expecting it to happen, whether for the better or worse. In Lucy's situation, she was trying like hell to make her marriage work. She was trying to be the attentive, fulfilling and doting wife. But it seemed like nothing she did was working in her favor. Her husband was just too focused on his work and nothing seemed to matter to him at this time, other than his work. Lucy started losing all hope that her marriage was salvageable, and she wasn't seeking to fulfill her needs elsewhere, but it happened when she least expected it. She meets her new boss and CEO of the company she currently works at, who happens to be none other the an her former boss' son. He came from the NY office to LA to step into his dad's shoes once his dad retired. Cole was mean, calculating and downright just a big a$$hole to his assistant. She was trying her best to keep her new boss happy even though nothing seemed to be going her way. He was always yelling at her, and making her feel small. But he had his reasons for his mistreatments towards his new assistant. Cole and Lucy find themselves working more with each other and taking business trips together that involves them spending more time together. Little by little Lucy starts losing the battle of staying away from her boss. Cole has his reasons for the way he treats his assistant, and that's because he really likes her and knows she's forbidden. So the only way he can stay away from her is by being the biggest jerk on the planet towards her. But it seems like he's losing that battle himself. Cheating is involved so beware! If you don't like reading about cheating then I don't think this is the right book for you, but if you have no qualms about it, then don't wait another minute, this book was so damn good and so hard to put down, that I recommend it to each and everyone out there that has no problem when it comes to cheating.
