Will Blaze run again when her new world is threatened? Or will she allow Tug to consume her? Review by AmandaConsume Me is book 3 in the Ravage MC series, and it focuses on the story between Tug and Blzae. Andrew "Tug" Tugger has been prospecting for the Ravage MC for the last year, and is hoping to be a full fledged brother very soon. He has returned from active duty in the army and found it difficult to acclimate to "normal" life. He needs to feel part of a family, and the MC provides him with what he longs for - a brotherhood. During his time as a prospect, he has thoroughly enjoyed all the benefits that come along with that - including many women. He meets Blaze in Club X (the strip club owned by the MC) and is drawn to her in ways that he does not himself understand. He wants her and will do anything to have her - even if it means taking things slow. Blaze is on the run from her previous life - she was sent to Sumner by her aunt, who knew that the MC would be able to help. She is given a new identity and a job, and has subsequently become one of the most sought after dancers in Club X. Although trying to keep a low profile within the club, which is hard to do, when you are kept separate from the other girls and provided with your own security - and especially when Tug starts paying her more and more attention. Blaze is not interested in dating or a relationship, but Tug's advances become harder and harder to resist. Will Blaze be able to put the ghosts of the past behind her or is she destined to chase Tug away with her rebuttals? Can Tug overcome the walls and boundaries she throws up and make her realise she is what he wants. I have never read a MC book that focuses on a prospect, and I actually really liked that Ryan Michele focused on that aspect. We get an inside perspective of what the prospects have to endure in order to become part of the brotherhood. Another thing I love about this series is that although the books are interlinked and intertwined, each can be read as a standalone without the reader losing much of the story. Tug is everything that you want in a biker. Alpha, hot, bossy, protective and all he wants to do (other than be a part of the MC) is love Blaze. He fights his own past by providing strength for those around him. I also really loved that we got to see him trying to rebuild the damaged relationship between himself and his family - this was an awesome aspect of the book. Blaze was a tortured and damaged character - so defensive and shut off initially, but eventually we see her open up and grow stronger. I loved the development of the character - especially considering all that she had been through. It's rare today to find a character that is so damaged, but who rises so beautifully from the ashes with renewed strength. I really enjoyed Consume Me and love how Ryan Michele weaves her story - her writing is succinct, easy to read and trust me, will definitely leave you sweating! HOT HOT HOT! I am giving Consume Me 4 Stars - and I look forward to reading more about the Ravage MC boys - I am hoping that one of the twins might be up next. Meet Ryan MicheleRyan Michele has a huge obsession with reading, which only came to life after her best friend said she had to read Twilight. After reading that series, her entire world changed in the blink of an eye. Not only was she sucked into new worlds and all of the wonderful words authors put down on paper, she felt the urge to begin to write down the characters that played inside of her head. In doing so, Safe was born. Then Wanting You, Ravage Me currently Seduce Me. When she's not reading or writing, she spends time taking care of her two children and her husband, enjoying the outdoors and laying in the sun. www.authorryanmichele.net www.facebook.com/AuthorRyanMichele http://www.goodreads.com/RyanMichele @Ryan_Michele
