They’re not quite enemies. Not really friends. More like frustrated balls of sexual tension and neither will give in.

Lance Gibson drives Mariah Malarkey absolutely crazy. He uses her office like a phone booth, takes cupcakes from the corner of her desk like she baked them just for him. She didn’t. Maybe she knew the history teacher happened to love peanut butter icing, but that was purely a coincidence. All sixteen times.

Mariah has a way of getting under Lance’s skin too. She calls him out on his crap, spoils him even if inadvertently, and seeing the librarian in skirts drives him wild. She won’t give in. It’s for the best, really, considering there’s no way he could lie to a woman like that and he’s not about to tell her the truth about himself. Not in a million years.

These two don’t hate each other. They don’t really like each other. But for this to be a friends-to-lovers story, they have to start somewhere, right?

Note: This can be read as a standalone novel.

4.5 Star Review by Ashley

There are some books you read. There are some books that just kind of absorb into you and you don't realize it's happening and it's imprinted in you. That's how I feel about Craft. Adriana Locke wove something subtle but so powerful with this book. I devoured it and at the same time never wanted it to end.

I'm just gonna pause to sigh for the awesomeness that is Lance Gibson. The guy who loves his family fiercely and gives a lot to his students. The ultimate playboy who deep down had a heart bigger than I expected.  But not Mariah- oh no, she saw it from the first time he sauntered into her office. What started out as lust fueled by some sweet, sugary treats and lots of innuendo slowly blossomed into something neither one was expecting.

I adored Mariah, too. She was kind and classy and even with having her heart slayed still holding onto the hope that her happily ever after was out there. Her gentleness was the perfect counterpoint to Lance's in your face personality. But Mariah had her wild side too. An inner vixen that only Lance brought out in her.

Adriana Locke wrote a life book here. I'm gonna take a moment because Craft was so much more than boy meets girl, is stunned stupid, does whatever it takes...no. This was boy and girl have a past that nearly broke them. Mariah and Lance knew each other for years before they gave into the undeniable chemistry between them. They had so much healing to do. They both had to learn to love themselves again. It didn't hurt that the rest of the Gibson boys were there to help Lance and Mariah see the blessing that them finding each other was.

I am so in love with this series. With this group of characters who have suffered and bonded together. I love how all of the Gibson boys are so different but have such big hearts. I absolutely can not wait for the next dose of their goodhearted shenanigans.
