Holy sexy pants! This book is steamy and scandalous and a touch sweet at times, too. I wanted to wrap Kasey up in a big old comforting hug a few times. This girl has been put through the wringer. While she's down, she's not out, she won't let herself be. A trip to try and change her lot goes way wrong in some ways and all right in others. Because that's where she meets Creed, again. Her sleeze of an ex-husband's brother. Nothing to amp up the intensity like a touch of the forbidden. And Creed's offer was just too good and way too hot to refuse. Oh that Creed. Broody. Domineering. Powerful. And a very, very good dirty talker (my favorite). He sets his sights on Kasey and not in a good way- at first anyway. There is just something about her that he can't stop thinking about. What started out as a revenge plot on his part quickly changed into something he wasn't expecting. Something more than he thought would ever want or deserve. We all know what they say about the best laid plans...And Creed's blew up in his face, big time. Only Kasey was the one left reeling- again. I loved that she had her ally in her best friend and cereal to help dry her tears.
