Five coworkers.
Four drinks.
Three glances.
Two fleeting smiles.
One dare.

A dare that will change my life.

That’s all it takes to send me plummeting into the arms of the mysterious Holt Hamilton. Behind his crystal blue eyes is a secret, one that screams danger but calls to me anyway.

My name is Saige Phillips.

I never walk away from a dare.

This book was all kinds of HOT!!!  Two people who end up together all due to a DARE, I mean seriously, if I had a man that looked like Holt in front of me, I'd definitely take the dare too!!

Holt is Saige's boss, technically he's the owner of the company she works for and her friends dare her to go and ask him out for drinks, she's surprised to see that he has accepted.  Holt has been on Saige for a long time, he knows what happened to her and he wants to look out for her, but when this woman comes face-to-face with him once she's hired through his company, he knows he wants more with her than just a strictly professional relationship with her.

Holt and Saige's chemistry is off the charts from start to end.  They break my heart for what they go through in this book and how they hurt each other in the long run.  But everyone works out their problems eventually right!  It took Saige a lot to forgive this loving man for the lies and secrets he kept from her.  The only reason he kept them was because he knew he would lose her and he just couldn't lose her!  Holt has been in love with Saige since she went up to him and asked him out for drinks.  He knows he needs to hold on to her and have her reciprocate those feelings and maybe, just maybe she can forgive him for what he is keeping from her once she finds out.

But Saige is a woman of determination, she is beyond hurt that Holt would keep something that big from her and she wants nothing to do with him once she finds out what this big secret is.  She also has demons that she needs to work on and she also doesn't want to divulge what her nightmares consist of.  But she eventually let's Holt in and tells him why she's having those nightmares.  It's not fair that she could tell him but he can't tell her!

The feels and emotions will have you all over the place and hurting for this beautiful couple.

Holt and Saige are one HOT as hell couple that will leave you breathless, hurt and going "WOW" all at the same time!

It's all about betrayal, lies, forgiveness -- I mean what more can you ask for in a book that will keep your curiosity going!

This is the first book I read from this author and I have to say....it won't be my last!

4.5 Daring stars!!
