The opening alone of Deception in the Truth was intense and it was full throttle straight on through to the end. The one sticky point for me was the connection between Sterling and Ivie. I get that they had known each other their entire lives, but they went from friends to lovers to strangers to lovers again in a heartbeat. I just wanted a little more time with them reestablishing their connection. That being said, I liked that Ivie and Sterling, despite the time and distance, still knew each other. Who they were, what mattered to them, what made them tick. But when secrets that only a small town can hold were hinted at and the threats started rolling in again, it stirred up all of those feelings from the past that neither had put to rest. From start to finish, A.B. Medley brought the danger and mystery. As things started to unravel my mind was spinning to try and put all the pieces together. There were a good handful of people who could've been behind the mayhem and it left me guessing until the culprit was revealed. And that ending...can you say full circle? About the Author A.B.
