Review by Lorena I can literally say that I was drunk on this book! I loved the book cover, I loved the characters and I loved the storyline. I've been so obsessed with all Penelope Ward books since I read My Skylar from her. She knows how to write a damn good book with so much emotion that bring tears to my eyes. Whether it's happy or sad tears, but nonetheless, they're tears. This has been the best friends to lovers books I've read this year -- by far!! Rana and Landon were such a great couple together <3 I loved how they reconnected. She never forgot him and for some reason one night she was drunk and decided to look him up and found his information and drunk dialed him. They got to talking and made it a ritual to talk on a daily basis. Now, how will they go about meeting up? Rana doesn't want Landon to see what she looks like. It's been 13 years since the last time they saw each other, what would Landon think of her now? He obviously is a gorgeous tatted up hunk that makes Rana drool. She's always had a complexion about her looks, so what WOULD Landon think? The question is, how far would you go for love? Rana lives in Michigan and Landon lives in California, so how would they even make it work? These two long lost friends were not afraid to show each other how they felt from the moment they saw each other in person. Rana had her reasons as to why she couldn't just pick up and move to anther state so it was up to Landon to decide whether he wanted to take things further with Rana and if he was willing to move back home to be with her. This book gave me tingles and I devoured every single page and couldn't get enough of Rana and Landon. Rana made me laugh and brought a smile to my face just like she did to Landon every night that they spoke over the phone.
