Finn Bollinger. Military codename: EAGLE.
A single dad, a warrior, a hero.

For Charlotte Devereux he's also the man whose heart she broke years before. And now, he's her only chance for survival.

When former Special Forces soldier Finn Bollinger is asked to help with an undercover mission, he's up for the task. His job teaching survival skills to civilians at Linear Tactical keeps him sharp, and he can still handle himself in the field.

But the Army damn well didn't teach Finn how to handle Charlotte Devereux. She's back and she's all sorts of bad news.

Charlotte can't change the past. Can't change the choices she made or the fact that they cost her everything. All she can do is endure the fallout. Even if that means putting her future in the hands of Finn, the man who has every right to want to destroy her.

And can in so many more ways than he thinks.

When Finn's undercover mission goes impossibly wrong, he'll have to depend on Charlotte's strength in order to survive. But everyone has a breaking point.

He's fighting for what's right.
She's fighting just to survive...

4 Star Review by Ashley

Excuse me while I go sit and rock in the corner. Holy wow Eagle was intense. I was intrigued by the small glimpses of Finn and Ethan I got in Cyclone and am glad Janie Crouch gave me this book in the Linear Tactical series next.

Not gonna lie, it took me a hot minute to warm up to Finn. But once more of the backstory between him and Charlie was revealed, I understood his coldness. He was just doing what he thought was right for his son. And that meant keeping Charlie away from him.

Oh that Charlie. I really liked her. She was down but not out. She knew how to hunker down and focus to get the job done. Even if the job was in a less than stellar environment. And that place is the center for some unsavory business dealings. Dealings that Finn and his team are trying to help sort out.

For as much as Finn knew he should stay away from Charlie, he couldn't. It was in the way she taught Ethan that allowed Finn to see her in a new light. Even when he wanted to push her away, he wouldn't let her hide. And when her truth came out, in all it's painful glory, it was all Finn could do to not sweep in and save the day. It was that single action that made me fall for him. While all the forgiveness and learning each other in the present was happening, the danger kept mounting.

I could feel it building. I knew it was going to explode. I had no idea just how dangerous and twisted things would get. The final reveal of whodunit had my jaw hanging. I was completely blindsided. There was never a dull moment in Eagle. Finn and Charlie's second chance romance was steamy, dramatic and full of heart.
