*This book can be read as a STAND ALONE* I would suggest reading the prior 2 novels and novella BUT Facade follows the story of a secondary character in the previous books. Kylee Anderson has all the qualities any man would want; sexy, fun, witty, intelligent and most importantly, she never wants a commitment. She’s gone the last four years getting exactly what she wants out of life: She’s continued a friendship with her oldest friend in the world, built a new bond with Skylar and Danny, and had the full college experience. After graduation, Kylee starts looking for a job where she meets Jacoby Roberts, CEO of the largest real estate development company in Ann Arbor. Just when she thought she was falling for Jacoby and his charm, she was hit with the reality of why it could never be. Not just with him, but with anyone. Determined to continue down the path of sex without titles, Jacoby will try to break through her shell and win her heart. There’s only one problem; Kylee isn’t that easy to win over. She’s witnessed what happens when you let love interfere with sex, and she’s vowed to never be in that position. Will Jacoby be able to secure a place in her heart? Will Kylee allow herself to feel the things she’s fighting, or will she keep living behind a façade? ***Mature Audience Only*** **Strong Sexual Content** Review by BrittanyWell, you all know that I love Ashley Suzanne, even for what she did to us with her first book in this series, Mirage. And no matter how many times she makes us hate her, I still love her. So of course, I dived right in when I was asked to beta read Façade, the third book in the Destined series. This book follows the story of Mira’s best friend, Kylee Anderson. Kylee Anderson has been in a friends with benefits typed relationship with Mira’s boss, Jacoby Roberts. Now, Jacoby is hot. Sexy, scorching, handsome, gorgeous, well-endowed, you know, that guy. Kylee refuses to give him the “more” that he wants from their relationship, but that doesn’t mean that he’s going to give up. Jacoby starts his “get Kylee to be my girlfriend” plan with a dinner at a place that serves her favorite food and believe it or not, you’re gonna swoon here, a horse and carriage ride. Yeah, jealous here. He’s fictional and already is better than my boyfriend. Jacoby is successful, and breaks off a piece of the wall that surrounds Kylee’s heart. But, that doesn’t last long, because Jacoby has some information that throws everything he had worked for out the window. Ashley Suzanne struggled with the ending to this book, but it came out perfectly. Like each book that she has previously published, it ends in such a way that I am okay with it. There’s a definite happily ever after, which who am I kidding, everyone loves. The story flowed really well together. No parts were rushed and each event was given the appropriate amount of description and time spent to cover it. There are some definite WTF moments in there, but it’s Ashley Suzanne, what do you expect? We also get more Mira and Skylar, plus there’s a little bit of Danny. We get to see each character moving on with their life, which makes me extremely happy, as I’ve become attached to them. Love me some Mira and Sky. <3 You’re going to love this book. It’s a definite five star read. I promise. I love Kylee so much because she’s so spunky and fun. It was awesome getting to know her more. You go Ashley Suzanne. Hope there’s more Jacoby and Kylee to come! About Ashley SuzanneAshley Suzanne is a married mother of three little boys as well as a daughter, aunt, sister, best friend, birth mother, blogger, book whore and author. Ashley is a native to the suburbs of Detroit, with most of her family living in Kentucky and New York. You can usually find Ashley sitting in bed, with her laptop, playing on Facebook, pretending to write, entering giveaways (she's also a swag whore) or on a football field with her oldest son, Tyler. Yep, not only is she a football fan, she's a football mom! When she's reading, it's typically something to do with romance, erotica being her favorite genre. Ashley co-owns a blog, 2 Chicks and a Blog, with her GBFF Manda. She's a total fan-girl over a few authors, Pamela Ann, Brooke Cumberland, SE Hall, Madeline Sheehan, Jasinda Wilder, Angela Graham, CM Stunich and Riley Rhea to name a few. Ashley has no pets, unless you count her children and she is a little OCD. Her favorite color is pink. Her favorite drink is cherry vodka and coke and double chocolate brownies are a must. She's currently working on her 2nd novel, Awakening, which will follow Mirage (An Amazon Best Seller) and a few other projects.
