Eleven years ago, I saved her. I loved her. But they took me away from her and locked me up. For two years, all I could think about was her. She consumed me. Took up every room in my head and gave me something to focus on, knowing I would see her soon.

Nine years ago, I watched her as she walked down the aisle and into the arms of a man who wasn't me. My brother. I left my home and never looked back.

Now, I'm staring at seven letters, each envelope stamped with one word in bold, red ink: URGENT.

I have no choice but to go back home. Seeing her will be the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do. But in order to reconcile with my past, I have to face my present. Even if the thought of seeing her, knowing that she is out of my reach, kills me.

I have no idea what awaits me, but I can only hope that the demons of my past will finally be buried and put to rest.

**Due to possible triggering descriptions of self-harm, and some sexual situations this book is not recommended for anyone under the age of 17 years old**

I'm going to admit that at first I was a little nervous in reading this book because of the content.  But when I finally sat down and got to reading it, I just have to say that it really blew me away.

The feelings it evoked in me are so hard to describe, but I can definitely say that I adored this story, it  was beautiful and painful.  I had tears as I continued reading this book because these two poor souls just couldn't find a break to actually enjoy each other and experience everything that a young loving couple should experience.

Nor had a monster of a father.  He couldn't fathom that Maggie had moved on with her life, married someone and was happy with her marriage and kids.  Stephen always thought that they should be together and he took hatred towards Cole not only because he blamed the kid that he was unable to be with the woman he has always loved but also because of his disability that reminded him so much of his brother.

Stephen hated his kids, he never loved his wife and would find anything and everything to constantly berate them.  He was an evil, evil man.

Nor and Cole suffered immensely in this book and I just can't get over how much pain I felt along with them.

Beautifully written that deserves more than five stars!

I need more Cole & Nor <3
