I get tangled up in their stories that I sometimes lose track of anything revolved around me because these stories just suck me in and it's so hard to get sucked back out. Violet and Richard are definitely a pair that leave you with your heart in your hands and wishing from the beginning that they will fix their issues and get together right away but that's not how it works. There are secrets that Richard seems to keep to himself and due to those secrets he broke Violet's heart and his as well. They were both miserable the whole time they were apart but Violet learned to live without him and dedicate herself to her business and her family. She had a lot going on in her personal life to be dwelling on the what could have been's. But when Richard storms back into her life, things are about to get complicated and this is where the story takes a turn for the good. We get a bit of everything that will definitely give you hope that everything will work out in the end. Violet and Richard are a force to be reckon with and this series is phenomenal, everyone needs to read it if you haven't started it yet. 4 Heart Review by Ashley Someone hold me because I am not ok after finishing Falling Into You. Richard and Violet's story put me through the emotional wringer. But it was the way A.L. Jackson layered hope and pain, guilt and fear with moments of happiness and joy that kept me hooked. And getting to catch up with the rest of Carolina George didn't hurt either! I knew the broody Richard was hiding something big. And with each secret that was revealed, the picture only became more blurry. But what was never in question were his feelings for Violet. Every single thing he had done, every sacrifice, even ounce of suffering was to ensure her safety. Try as he may, when push came to shove, he couldn't stay away. He had to see her. Be near her. Hold her. Love her. He never stopped. Time and life and circumstance never changed that for him. Now he just had to get her to believe him. My goodness Violet was the best. Kind. Full of grace and class with the biggest heart. It showed in her actions, her thoughts, her words. The way she treated others, her family, herself. And Richard. The man who hurt her more than anyone ever had. Even when she tried to keep her walls up, she couldn't. Her heart belonged to him. There was danger lurking and the pressure was on for Richard to protect his biggest secret. Lives depended on it. My heart was pounding and I was reading furiously to see how those tense moments would play out.
