I have one job: Get close and take him out. The only problem is, I want him more.

I was barely five when I lost my brother; seven when my father was murdered.
Overnight, I was taken by my mysterious uncle, grafted into a world of crime I didn’t understand and couldn’t escape.

The first ten years, I did my best to blend in.
The next four, I reinvented myself, growing stronger, searching for answers.
Now I have one assignment—take down the man who knows our secrets.

Professor Dirk Winston is my target, and I’m expected to be a good soldier, disguised as a good student.
Only he’s not the passive bookworm I expect.
He’s ripped muscles, bedroom eyes, dirty mouth, and ready for a fight.

But I’ve got my plans of my own, and this hot teacher is going to do more than give me grades and take my panties.
He’s going to help me get revenge.

(FORBIDDEN is a five-alarm-spicy age-gap, student-professor romance with secrets, lies, and answers to all your questions. No cheating. No cliffhanger.)

4 Heart Review by Ashley

Did Tia Louise just pen my favorite book in the Hamiltown Heat series? You bet. Holy hotness with a side a yum Forbidden was go go go from the start and didn't let up all the way through.

I didn't think I would be able to say this going in but I really liked Reanna. She knew what she wanted and she went after it. Were her means unorthodox? Absolutely. Was it going to stop her? Not one bit. Until she met Dirk, her mark. Excuse me professor! WOW!

There was no denying the chemistry between these two. It ignited the pages. But more than that, they connected on a deeper level. But with Reanna's secrets and Dirk's connection to her past, it was only a matter of time before chaos came calling. And when it did...nobody was left out of the cross hairs.

I really enjoyed seeing the rest of the characters from the series being involved, even when things were falling apart around them all. My heart was pounding the final third of the book as all the sinister plans and double crossing was brought to light. It was one twist and turn after another. Talk about intense. Reanna and Dirk's quasi enemies-to-lovers romance was sinfully sexy while also being dangerous and deadly. I couldn't get enough and didn't want it to end.
