Fate. Hate. Love. Lies.

Which four letter word will change their lives forever?

Sydney Paige was never so mortified to hear the words "wrong number" in her life. She meant to tell off the guy who broke her best friend's heart but unleashed her anger on a perfect stranger instead. And now her world is turned upside down by the captivating man who wants to keep her on the line.

Brian Savage is living a life he's quickly come to hate-until Sydney's wild rant has him hooked and hungry for more. Soon the sexy woman on the phone becomes the lover in his bed. But Brian has secrets, and the closer he lets Syd get, the harder it is to shield her from the devastating mistakes of his past . . .

4 Star Review by Ashley

Oh my! Four Letter Word completely blindsided me. I had been hearing nothing but great things about this book but I wasn't expecting to have my world rocked like it was. J. Daniels sucked me right in with that opening and the writing kept me hooked until the very last page.

I really liked Sydney. This woman who was down on her luck but not out. Her life may have been in disarray but nothing and no one was going to hold her back- even  herself. A best friend in need of some comforting, a tirade for the ages and a wrong number for Sydney changed the course of her life. Enter Brian. This guy is harboring a major secret but he couldn't get the random call or the woman who placed it out of his head. When fate intervenes and throws them into each others path again, he's more than torn about what to do.

Wild, sweet and sexy in equal measures, I can't get into all the goodness that unfolded as this story progressed but I will say it was a re-awakening. For both Brian and Sydney. But the past always finds a way to come back and bite you. I didn't see Brian's big revelation coming at all and my heart just broke for him. For the guilt. For the unnecessary things he was doing because of it. But I also got it. His need to make amends, to ease the burden...And there was Syd, to bring him back to himself. To the man she knew he was. The man she loved.

I can't forget about the fun cast of secondary characters- Jamie, Brian's best friend and Tori, Sydney's' sister of the heart. These two have something simmering between them and it is going to be explosive- I can't wait to see how it all plays out in the next installment of this series!
