Becca McKenzie is happy—crazy, ridiculously happy.

She might not have figured out what she wants to do with her life, but she has something better—Ryan Jackson—and they couldn’t be more in love if they tried. He might have been pissed when she went off to a different college, but they make the long distance work because they’re “Becca and Ryan”, and nothing is going to break them.

Until it does.

Until one terrible, unforgettable night away from Ryan. Until too much drinking and one empty bedroom. Until fifteen minutes of hell completely destroys her life and leaves Becca questioning everything she’s ever known.
Until that night turns into a lie she can’t stop—can’t control.

Until she said no but he didn’t listen.

Review by Lorena

This duet just about killed me.

This book really took me in such an emotional rollercoaster!

I couldn't believe what Becca went through and even though people are selfish and self-absorbed out there in this world, and they think they can get away with stuff because they have high powered family that it leaves you broken and unable to do anything about it.

Becca and Ryan have finally become an item after pining for each other for so long but neither do-do birds wanted to admit to their feelings for each other.  But in this second book they are finally together and they are as happy and as in love as can be.  The only problem is that they both attend different universities in different states but they seem to have been able to make it work.

Ryan wants Becca to transfer to his university but she doesn't want to.  She wants to experience the whole college thing on her own and doesn't want to be considered "Ryan's girl".  But due to the fact that she doesn't want to be in the same school as her boyfriend, and her attending a frat party with such revealing clothes will lead to an unfortunate event that will break them apart.

Becca is so in love with Ryan and will do anything for him, she's tried talking to him and has gone as far as going back home to try and tell him what happened but he's too busy obviously already trying to forget her.

In spite of Ryan hurting her in the worst and most cruel way, she still loves him and will do anything to be with him, in spite of what she has seen and/or heard about him.

But can Ryan and Becca ever forgive each other and give each other a second chance once everything comes to light?

When Ryan finds out what really happened, he goes begging Becca to take him back but she can't, not after everything that he put her through.  She was so broken and lost and was not herself.  She was even on the verge of failing her classes.

But Ryan and Becca were so perfect together.  Can she honestly blame him for acting the way he did?

Both Becca and Ryan were infuriating at times, but overall this series was amazing!  I shed a few tears for them because they were both hurting and life wasn't being fair to either of them.

I can honestly say that this book sends out a message and will definitely be a story that will be hard to forget.
