Fifth Book in the New York Times Bestselling Series.

“We’d won. We’d cut through the lies and treachery and promised an alliance that would free us both. But even as we won, we lost. We didn’t see what was coming. We didn’t know we had to plan a resurrection.”

Nila Weaver fell in love. She gifted her entire soul to a man she believed was worthy. And in the process, she destroyed herself. Three debts paid, the fourth only days away. The Debt Inheritance has almost claimed another victim.

Jethro Hawk fell in love. He let down his walls to a woman he believed was his cure. For a moment, he was free. But then he paid the ultimate price.

There is no more love. Only war. Hope is dead. Now, there is only death all around them.

**Only suitable for Dark Romance lovers.
Full length book. Six in series. Fourth Debt is 85,000 words.

Review by Ashley

Fourth Debt...where do I start? What can I say? My heart was already pounding when I opened up to the first page because I knew I was in for it- and was I ever right. This book had it all- love and loss, hope and fear and mixed into it all was Nila and her battle with the Hawks.

I swear every single time I think I'm FINALLY getting an answer it just causes about ten more questions to be asked. There are so many twists and turns that my mind was reeling. Allegiances were built and tested and torn. Hope was given and in the next breath taken away. But what couldn't be taken was the true, deep and unconditional love that Nila had for Jethro. Her love made her weak and strong, fearful and brave but most of all determined. Determined to do what she set out to do from the start, end the Debt Inheritance once and for all. I loved her boldness and how she didn't hold back from anyone. She used her pain and anger to make her stronger, to do what needed to be done. However, while she was scheming so were the Hawks. And that is all you're going to get from me about the goings on in this one!

My mind is still whirling from the ride it just got off of. This book was so emotional, more so for me than any of the others in this series. I have absolutely NO idea how all of this is going to wrap up in one more book. What I do know is that it is going to be explosive and mind bending in only the way that Pepper Winters can make so.

About Pepper Winters

Her Dark Erotica books include:

Tears of Tess (Monsters in the Dark #1)
Quintessentially Q (Monsters in the Dark #2)
