Izzy White knows of the darkness in this world. After all, she escaped it long ago. Determined not to let her past beat her, Izzy has a secure, stable life with a job she loves in nursing. But one act of kindness will completely upend everything she's so carefully built-putting her right back in the crosshairs of danger she's been so desperate to avoid.

When Theo Kane shows up like a knight in shining armor, Izzy can't help thinking she's been saved from one threat and exposed to another. His imposing physique, the harsh lines of his face, and the wariness of everyone who comes close are just a few clues to Theo Kane's notorious reputation. The man is positively terrifying. But with Izzy, he's tender and a complete gentleman, and her fascination with the mysterious beast of a man becomes too powerful for her to walk away.

As Theo's demons come to light, running becomes even more impossible. And yet staying together could doom them both.

4.5 Star Review by Lorena

Jodi Ellen Malpas has done it yet again!

This author never fails to amaze me with her beautifully written stories. I never know what to expect with her, but it never stops me from reading her books, and yet again....she had my complete and one hundred percent undivided attention reading this emotional story.

Theo and Izzy are both damaged souls, who have secrets that neither one wants to reveal to each other. But that still doesn't stop them from pursuing a relationship that will take time and effort to trust each other.

The hero and heroine were the perfect match, both are strong characters that would never back down. Although, Theo really did bend his back a little when it came to Izzy because he fell utterly and hopelessly in love with Izzy. It took Izzy a little bit to actually give in and give Theo what he wanted, but he never failed to charm her in any way possible.

He was charming, charismatic and broody at times. She was fierce, determined, selfless and a very smart girl.

This story is one of those stories that will suck you whole. I felt at times like I even stopped breathing from reading so fast and wanting to get to the bottom of the plot.

One heck of a ride we were given in this story!

4 Star Review by Ashley

The start of Gentleman Sinner had my heart racing and me itching to know what wild ride Izzy was in for. And let me tell you, Jodi Ellen Malpas didn't let me down one bit. I was riveted. Glued to my kindle. I had to know what was going to happen next.

What an opening! I really liked Izzy. She was strong and smart and bold. Possibly a bit reckless. But she had endured and survived a lot so it wasn't surprising that a man like Theo got her hackles rising. However, she wasn't scared of the beast of a man. She didn't back down and stood her ground on what she wanted.

Oh my stars. Theo! THEO!!! Powerful. Domineering. Protective. Alpha with a capital A. He didn't have an easy life but he certainly made the most if it. His biggest weakness quickly became Izzy. She had the power to destroy him and she knew it. Thankfully she guarded him as fiercely as he protected her.

But their happy bubble where nothing touched them could only last so long. And when that bubble burst...Holy heart stopping. I was cringing and holding my breath and trying to read faster than my eyes would allow. I knew Theo was going to do something reckless. Dangerous. But I didn't see that coming at all.

Gentleman Sinner was dark and emotional and thoroughly compelling. I couldn't look away. Jodi Ellen Malpas gave me characters who found their perfect match in the other. And while Theo and Izzy's romance was a bit of a whirlwind, nothing else would've worked for them.

About the Author

Jodi Ellen Malpas wrote her debut series, The This Man Trilogy, in secret, worried about what people might think if they knew what her imagination was capable of. She was shocked herself. But she finally found the courage to unleash her creative streak and self-published THIS MAN – the first book of the This Man Trilogy – in October 2012. She took a chance on the story with a hero who soon became one of modern day fictions most prolific alpha male characters. Jesse Ward – also affectionately known as The Lord of The Manor, sparked incredible reactions from women across the globe and catapulted Jodi into the world of romance.

She was soon signed by Grand Central Publishing, part of the Hachette Book Group, and the third book of the trilogy, This Man Confessed, took Jodi to the top of the bestsellers lists, earning her the proud title of #1 New York Times Bestselling Author. This Man has since been voted one of the top romance novels of all time. With so much love and enthusiasm for her words, Jodi suddenly wasn’t afraid of her imagination anymore and has since let it run riot. Writing powerful love stories and creating addictive characters has become her passion—a passion she now shares with her devoted readers.
Jodi was born and raised in the Midlands town of Northampton, England, where she lives with her real-life man, her boys, and a beagle. She is a self-professed daydreamer, a Converse and mojito addict, and has a terrible weak spot for alpha males.  Her work is now published in more than twenty-five languages across the world.
