Killian is such a difficult character to describe but his psychotic tendencies were just so out there, and when he gets his sites hooked on something, he won't let it go until he's satiated and already bored with it. But it seems like once he got his eyes hooked on Glyn he just couldn't seem to let her go. The chase was on! Glyndon was a quiet girl who also had her demons but she kept them well hidden. Her and her brother Bran were the ones who got along very well and her other brother Lan who happened to be Bran's twin just was like a lost soul, he was more like Killian and Glyn and Bran tried to stay away from him. But when Killian got his claws hooked on Glyndon, there was no escaping him. Even though Glyndon claimed she wanted nothing to do with him, somehow she enjoyed the excitement he invoked in her. The cat and mouse game they seemed to play is what had me going throughout the book and I LOVED IT!!
