Women loathed me without even knowing my name.
Men coveted the very idea of me.

Escort. Call girl. Prostitute. Hooker. Whore.

I'd heard it all. Done it all.

Over the years I'd felt a lot of things about my occupation...but not regret--never regret. I had my reasons for doing what I did and nothing and no one had ever made me question them.

UNTIL MARCO VALENTI.

He'd changed me and I'd naively fed into the fairy tale.

But Marco wasn't my Prince Charming.

He had secrets of his own.

Secrets that would eventually rip away everything I held dear.

4.5 Star Review by Ashley

I am still in shock that the book I just read, Hook, is from Elisabeth Grace. This is so different from her usual writing but I loved every sinfully sweet and delightfully dirty moment of it. I was, pun intended, hooked from the eye popping opening.

Brandi, the escort with a heart of gold that bleeds for her son, Daniel, and him only. I loved that she has hopes a dreams that are far bigger than what she does for a living. When work brings her to the door of the mysterious and uber sexy  Marco Valenti, all bets are off. This man. I don't even know how to put him into words. He is broody and dominant but also refined and a gentleman. I liked that I didn't learn much about him except for what he does when his suit comes off! These two steam up the sheets and the door and the shower and the...you get the point. The chemistry is undeniable and as Marco demands more of her time, they come to an understanding and even a friendship of sorts.

But when outside forces plot to get their way no matter the cost, Brandi is left in the cross fire- and by extension, Daniel. Gah! I didn't see this turn coming but I enjoyed how it changed the dynamic of  Marco and Brandi's quasi relationship. From here on out the intensity really picks up and  just when I thought Marco and Brandi have got it figured out- BAM!!! The twist of all twists! My jaw was on the floor. Hook is an absolute whirlwind that will leave you absolutely reeling and wanting to yell at Elisabeth Grace for doing that to you. I am beyond ready for Burn, the next book in this series.
