Dylan Sullivan's story (Seattle Sullivans #4)

Dylan Sullivan, a renowned boat builder, has spent his entire life sailing around the world. But while he’s always enjoyed the freedom of the ocean, when Grace Adrian shows up at his Seattle boathouse to interview him for a magazine, it’s love at first sight. Love for both Grace and her ten-month-old son, Mason, with whom Dylan has an immediate bond. And every moment they spend together makes Dylan more and more certain that a love like theirs is worth risking everything for.

A year and a half ago, Grace’s entire world turned upside down. Not only did she learn that she was pregnant, she also found out that she was nothing but a dirty little secret to her boyfriend and his elite Washington D.C. family. Since then, Grace has been rebuilding her life in Seattle, giving one hundred percent of her attention to her son and her freelance writing career. Believing she can never risk her heart—or her son’s—again, especially to a man like Dylan who could sail away at any moment, Grace tries desperately to guard her heart from the charismatic and sexy sailor.

For as sweet and protective as Dylan is during the day, at night when one incredibly hot kiss turns into so much more, Grace simply can’t find a way to keep from tumbling into his arms again and again. But can she ever learn to trust in love again?

4 Star Review by Ashley

I was in the mood for a light-hearted, sweet and swoon worthy love story and that is exactly what I got in I Love How You Love Me. I haven't read a Bella Andre book in well over a year (hangs head) and I am so glad I pulled this one from the depths of my kindle.

I fell for Grace, and Mason right away. What wasn't there to love about the adorable kid and his strong and sassy mother. Mia has been though a lot in her life, especially the last two years. She uprooted her life in the hopes of giving her son a better one and so far everything is working out alright. She is finally getting her life back to some kind of normal when a work assignment brings her face to face with the incredibly sexy, hard to get a hold of and mysterious Dylan Sullivan.

Wow! That man- excuse me while I fan myself for a moment. I loved how at ease he was with Mason and how he helped put Grace's fears to rest, about somethings anyway. He was persistent yet gave her space when she needed it. The chemistry between these two was off the charts, sizzling from their first meeting. But there was also an underlying sweetness, an awe of each other almost, that made the small moments outweigh the bigger ones.

But Grace had a reason to be wary, she had been burned badly in the past. And Dylan was a sailor, a free spirit that went where the wind took him. She couldn't let herself, or Mason, get too attached just for him to sail away. I rejoiced when she finally let her fears fall at his feet. Dylan embraced them and her and did what he does best, put a plan into action. Yes, it included his family (it wouldn't be a Sullivan novel without seeing the rest of the gang), because when you threaten one of them, everyone goes to battle for you. I love how the family rallied around Grace and Mason as if they were one of their own.

Bella Andre has a knack for writing heroes and heroines who grow stronger both individually and as a couple as her books progress and it was no different here. It was Grace who won the day when her past came back to taunt her. I loved that she grew into her own and faced her biggest fear head on. And Dylan learned a lot about his own priorities by watching Grace with Mason. Yes, their fall was fast and furious but no less deep and meaningful.
