Everything. 4 Star Review by Ashley This book had been all over the place so I knew I had to give it a shot. Kristen Callihan is a new to me author and I enjoyed her writing. While I found it a touch slow in the beginning, it really picked up and I found myself completely wrapped up in Killian and Libby's story. AND THAT PLAYLIST is to die for!! This book is full of pain and loss. But amidst the angst and there is a whole lot of it, there is this undercurrent of hope that just grabbed me by the heart and didn't let go. Killian and Libby were both lost and hiding away from who they were and their potential. Until one fateful jam session put the spark back into them. From there it was game on! Their journey wasn't easy. From the band to the media to the fans, Killian and Libby were scrutinized. These two were so self sacrificing that I almost couldn't take it. They were also so in love with the other. Each risked their own success and happiness to put the other first and that warmed my heart. Idol was a great start to what is sure to be an excellent series. The whole cast of characters- from the band mates to the manager all have their own special personality. They all contributed to Killian and Libby's story in some way- even if it wasn't all positive- and I can't wait to get to meet them all and the woman that is going to bring them to their knees!
