The banter between Trix and Tristan was so freaking hilarious, I couldn't stop laughing at these two. For as much as they said that they hated each other ... boy, did they turn up the heat once that hatred turned into something more. Trix lost her job and left her apartment because her roommates were a bit too much and so her brother Flip offered for her to crash at Tristan's for a few weeks. Flip lived with Tristan so he figured his sister and best friend would be able to co-habitat together (WRONG)! At first Tristan and Trix got on each other's nerves and would go back and forth with their bickering, but once they made a bet ... everything went out the window and boy that chemistry between them was scorching H.O.T.! Trix had a problem though, she was always looking out for everyone else before she looked out for herself. Tristan had a problem with commitment and didn't want to look after anyone again after he took care of his two younger brothers. Aside from them hiding their rendezvous from Flip, they tried to keep their emotions out as well. It was supposed to be a one time thing that turned into almost daily until things went south for them. MY GOD, this book had my undivided attention from the get-go. I loved the main characters as much as I loved the side characters. I just have to say, there were laugh-out-loud moments more than anything in this book and I am looking forward to more and I hope we get a book on some of the side characters too!
