If you like complex characters, hot and heavy scenes, and stories of hope, then you’ll adore A. M. Kusi’s powerful tale of healing. 4 Heart Review by Ashley I need a blanket and a hug after finishing In the Grey. This return to Shattered Cove was unlike the others in the series. Talk about emotionally intense. From the very beginning I knew I was going to be put through the wringer and I wasn't wrong. My heart ached for Emma and Link. For their loss. The guilt they harbored. Their shared pain. The pain they held silently in their hearts. When they were living out Sol's last wish, things took an unexpectedly sexy turn. Holy smoke show! These two were dynamite together. I loved that they were unafraid to express themselves the way they did. Too bad they couldn't be that honest when the clothes were on... My stomach churned and I found myself rubbing my chest the final quarter of the book. I won't lie, things took a dark-ish turn I wasn't expecting. But A.M. Kusi handled it with the patience and care it deserved. Emma and Link's emotional and angsty roller coaster of highs and lows kept me on edge all the way through. And that ending!!! It was so wonderfully them and left me with a swoony smile on my face. About the Author A.M. Kusi is the pen name of a husband and wife team.
