​Oh boy, this book had me AT HELLO! I was all kinds of hooked from beginning til the very end! I cannot wait for the 2nd book. CAN IT BE HERE LIKE NOW!!

Ash and Ember are supposed to be enemies. Their families hate each other and it comes from generations back. But Ash thinks this feud is just ridiculous and should just stop once he meets Ember and sees she is totally a beauty and shouldn't be used as a pawn for his father's revenge. But Ash really has no say in the matter since he's supposed to take over his father's empire but is it worth it??

Ember goes to Isles because she wants to learn, she's a smart girl and her end goal is to become a writer and meet a good man and eventually marry and live a good life. When she meets Ash, she finds herself enthralled in him and eventually they start a back and forth thing going. She wants to be more than just a casual hook-up to him, but it's more complex than just saying "you want to be my girlfriend" and is she willing to go through what needs to be done in order to become his girlfriend"?
The love that Ash developed for Ember was just so special and beautiful and even though he kept telling her not to fall in love with him, it turned out that he ended up falling in love with her first. His nicknames for her were so darn cute (Mi Sol, Mi Amor - meaning My Sun, My Love). He truly did fall for her and was willing to protect her whichever and whatever way he could.

The cliffy was crucial man, Ms. Taylor did a number on me with that ending!

I really, really loved this book and I am soooooo glad I took a chance in reading it and now I can't wait for the 2nd book ... eagerly waiting for it here!!
