Love is fatal; a snake that slithers into your life, poisons you with its venom, and leaves you there to die.

I swore I wouldn’t be my parents.
I swore I would stay away from the limelight.

Falling in love with a musician was definitely out of the question.

Weston Carter was all kinds of wrong for a girl like me. He was musician, a womanizer, and a first class heartbreaker.

I didn't know a love like this could exist. Our love was epic, the kind people wrote stories about. We fell into it hard, unable to control our feelings.

I set myself up for a shattered heart.
A broken life.
A fucked up love story.

Four Star Review by Ashley

I always get a little excited to read work from a new author and this debut from Callie Anderson was getting hyped from a lot of my favorite fellow book lovers! It took me a bit to get really into the story, like a good 30% in...but after that I was completely hooked. Invisible Love Letter is far from your typical rocker romance. Yes, it has all the drama and hype of a rocker romance but there is a depth to this one that really got to me.

I liked Emilia's courage and convictions from the get go. She is strong willed and knows what she will and will not stand for. Love is not for her, especially with a musician. She knows first hand how tragic that life can be. She has her rules and she is sticking to them. That is until one Weston Carter bursts into her world. There was an instant attraction that neither could deny. Even though Em tried to, repeatedly. But Weston is nothing if not determined, a few months and half a world couldn't keep Emilia from his thoughts. And when she makes her return to his life he is a man on a mission.

I loved how he was patient yet purposeful in his approach with her. He knew her reservations and did his best to put her mind at ease. It was really the small things that made me melt for him. His stormy eyes and sweet touch and how he poured himself into his passion. But how Emilia was always his first choice. And Weston became her first choice too.

It was never more obvious than when she receives news that rocks her to her core. I both loved and hated how she sacrificed her happiness for his dreams. This one action became the catalyst for the turn that everyone's life takes, Weston's included. From here things really pick up and I was furiously flipping pages to see what would happen when they were brought face to face with each other again. Lets just say it wasn't the reunion that either was expecting. Gone was the lightness and ease and in its place was a stifling tension and years of hurt and loss. This is the part of the book where my emotions went on high alert. I kept waiting for the other shoe to drop and for both of them to realize that they were better off together than apart but they were both so stubborn they couldn't get over their own fears. And Emilia has a HUGE one.

Of course, her fear becomes a reality when Weston is brought face to face with her biggest secret. WOW! Talk about emotional overload. I could feel the shock and confusion and anger and, ultimately, the love. I had no clue how they were going to make it work but somehow they found a balance. My heart really ached for everyone- from Weston to Lyra to Jeremy to Emilia. There was no one that was left unscathed.

Invisible Love Letter had me on the edge of my seat waiting to see if Emilia and Weston would get the happy they both wanted but couldn't seem to make a reality. Seriously, that ending left me with my jaw on the floor wondering what in the world just happened! I absolutely can not wait to see what exactly happened and where Emilia goes from here. Kudos to Callie Anderson for knocking my socks off with her debut. It was emotional, gripping and left me wanting so much more.
