DO have tissues and someone to hug close by. If I thought the ending to Side B got me, then I don't even know what to say about EP. My poor shredded, still beating heart. I haven't cried reading a book this much in years. YEARS!!! And I am so NOT a crier when it comes to books. At all. I can't say too much because I don't want this to turn into one big spoiler alert. But I will say this. I loved Amelia's journey. It was so heartbreaking and painful. But also riddled with moments of hope and great joy- just like life. And baby Nate, Noah 2.0, brought so much light to all the tragedy surrounding "that night". To everyone. Every detail of this series held a meaning. And it may've taken a bit to figure it out but it all added up in the end. There was friendship, loss, music, family, hope, desperation, fear and most of all love. So much love that it found the way to fill all the empty spaces in Amelia and the B&D's world. It took some time but pain was turned into passion and purpose. The Illusion series of books is truly something special. D. Kelly went for it big and it paid off in a spectacularly gripping way. I went through every emotion while reading EP and still wanted more when all was said and done. About the Author D.
