Lawson will give his last breath to keep Willow safe. 3.5 Heart Review by Ashley This is my first read from this writing duo and I am kicking myself for taking so long to jump in because wowwwwee!!! Lawson ticked all my boxes...romantic suspense, a strong heroine and protective hero that would do anything for his woman. While there were a few plot points that were started but never fully developed, it didn't detract too much. I admired Willow's strength. She did what she needed to get herself out of a bad situation and was making it work the best she could. Her confidence was shaken but her new town gave her a warm welcome and rallied around her. No one more than Lawson. The connection was instantaneous but getting Willow to listen to herself, trust her own instincts took a bit of work. It was Lawson's patience and gentle caring that allowed her to drop her walls and let him in. Too bad Willow's past wouldn't let her go quite yet. There was more than one heart pounding moment that had me on edge as it played out in what seemed to be slow motion. From start to finish Willow and Lawson's journey was equal parts sweet and steamy. And that ending...has me eager to get back to Graystone and this group!
