It starts with a rich, wealthy man who pretty much is a loner. He doesn't get along with his family but they all run the company they own. His father and younger brother never agree with him when it comes to decisions pertaining to the company. So he pretty much does things his way. When Rafe saw a woman in a position that she was almost starving herself, you could tell she didn't have money and he decided to help her out. He got captivated with her and decided to look into her. He charmed her and got her to trust him and started to wine and dine her. His intentions were to ruin her but it turns out fate had other plans for him. I didn't feel the connection to be genuine with the main characters but I still liked the story and where it was going.
