Whatever force made Lucky, either God or the Universe, wrapped him so tightly around my heart that sometimes I’m suffocating. Biologically, we are made of too many similar parts, yet our chemistry is like a meteor shower, raining bright sparks of light into the dark night. But it’s not our biology or chemistry that worries me the most, it’s the physics of our love that goes against the cosmos. Review by Lorena This series was everything that I was expecting and more. I had been waiting for this sequel for like EVER! I was hoping and praying that we would eventually get more of Lucky and Belen after reading Maldeamores. And Maldeamores really left me all f*cked up (emotionally and physically). I was hurting and aching for these two individuals to the point where it felt like I was actually feeling their pain in real life. I was so distraught and emotionally exhausted after reading both books. I have read so many taboo and forbidden books but none like this story. Mara White has a way to f*ck with my emotions and when I think we're going to get a HEA she screws me over, but not always so I never know what to expect with this author at the end, which I totally love because her endings aren't always conventional. Totally loved the fact that we got more of Lucky's POV and his insight of his feelings towards Belen. The why's and why not's as to whether their love would survive and be accepted or criticized. This series was beyond amazing and I have no words other than pure love, joy and happiness with Maldeamores/Malentendido. Mara White has become one of my go-to authors and I am obsessed with all Mara White books now. 5 Superb stars! AUTHOR BIO Mara White is a contemporary romance and erotica writer who laces forbidden love stories with hard issues, such as race, gender and inequality. She holds an Ivy League degree but has also worked in more strip clubs than even she can remember. She is not a former Mexican telenovela star contrary to what the tabloids might say, but she is a former ballerina and will always remain one in her heart. She lives in NYC with her husband and two children and yes, when she’s not writing you can find her on the playground.
