Fresh off a divorce from a Hollywood hotshot, Madison Atwood needs an escape. With the paparazzi fresh on her heels and her love life splashed on every tabloid, she runs away to a swanky retreat in Northern California. Avalon Springs is the mountainside haven she needs to find herself again.

Luke Dawson lives off the grid, preferring solitude to society. When he finds a beautiful woman soaking in the hot springs on his property, he can’t stop himself from watching her. She captures his attention, but she’s just a city girl—a beautiful distraction disturbing the peace he’s settled here to find.

When Madison discovers Luke’s secluded cabin, he can’t turn her away again. They make no promises. Madison needs to feel wanted again, and Luke misses the touch of a woman. But when mother nature has other plans, they’re forced to spend more than a night of passion together. Can Luke say goodbye to the only woman who’s made him feel anything in years, and can Madison leave behind the man who brought her back to life?

4 Star Review by Ashley

I am in no way a stranger to Chelle Bliss's work; Meredith Wild on the other hand, I've never read. That's not to say I haven't heard good things because I had- for a few years now. So when I saw that these two ladies teamed up, I knew this was my chance. Can you say sexy? Fast paced? Full of heart? Misadventures of a City Girl was all that and so much more.

Goodness how I adored Madison. She was easily relateable and just so likeable that I found myself rooting for her from the first sentence. She had been through something that would beat most down, and she was down, but she wasn't out. She's taking some time to regroup which leads her up the mountain and into the path of Luke Dawson. Holy hunk of hotness! Broody and hiding, he has no room for anyone or anything outside of his mountain in his life. Especially not a spoiled city girl.

When a random act of mother nature strands these two together for a few days and it changes their perception of the other. They learn each other's tale of woe and their insta-lust becomes something more. But there was always an expiration date on their time together. And when an emergency pops up, it sends Madison running and leaves Luke questioning what he thought he wanted.

Insert the biggest swoony sigh here. Madison and Luke prove that selfishness will get you nowhere. That with love there is no obstacle too big to overcome. That with a little patience and understanding there is always a way to the middle ground.

5 Star Review by Lorena

Bravo for a well written book by the two dynamic women Meredith Wild and Chelle Bliss.

The storyline was fantastic, the amount of pages was perfect, the mountain man and the city girl were just an amazing duo together.

What better way to spend a month away from the spotlight especially when your ex has cheated and it's plastered all over social media right!  You want to get away from everything and everyone and just focus on yourself and forget about the cheating bastard.  But then you run into a hunk of a man and all your thoughts and focuses have gone out the window!

When Madison and Luke get together they sure have some explosive chemistry that will make your panties wet, it was deliciously written and so good that you don't want to put the book down for a second.

I've read every single book Meredith Wild has ever written and have to say that she's one of my top go to authors whenever she releases a new book. This is my first read from Chelle Bliss and I can guarantee you that it won't be the last.

These two co-writing together was a great fit and this book was just the BOMB!

Five outstanding stars!
