Allen got me square in the chest right from the start and the emotional ride didn't stop the whole way through. I admired Violet for her resiliency and sacrifice. In doing whatever it took to take back her life on her own terms and be able to provide for her son. Too bad her past, in the form of her ex best friend, Jamison, kept showing up. I liked how he gave her the space to come to him and open up about what actually happened to tear them apart in the past. And let me tell you, those two 'friends' were always so much more than they would admit to the other. I will say that I wanted a little bit more of Jamison and Violet and Brayden bonding together. Other than that I'm looking forward to seeing these two enjoy their love as this series moves forward. About the Author K.K.
