Instead, I was left perpetually longing for a forbidden man. 5 Heart Review by Lorena Wow, I haven't read such a heartfelt book by Penelope Ward in such a long time and now Moody came along and I feel invigorated after reading it. This story took me to another place that I felt I haven't been to in a long time. Dax Moody is pretty much a recluse. He just lives to work, work and work and one day he decides to call and request a particular person to come and give him a massage, but their first encounter ended up turning out to be a clumsy one for Wren, the masseuse, she left mortified that day and never in a million years thought he would call and request her again, but that's exactly what happened. From that moment on they established a friendly bond that Wren strongly wished could lead to more than just friendship but Dax would not cross that line no matter what. He was very strong-willed and did everything in his power to contain himself from trying to take things to the next level. Wren did everything she possibly could to entice him, persuade him -- but nothing worked. Although they settled on just a friendship, their chemistry was so much more stronger and very hard to try and hold back from but they had a reason that they needed to hold back and it was killing them both, but it was something they both agreed on and knew it was the right thing to do.... or was it!!
