This magnificent story of two people who fell for each other and felt like the world would be against them if they revealed their love for each other. Totally forbidden, she's only 17 and he's 23. She's a ballgirl and he's a player (literally). He finds himself always getting into trouble and has no care in the world since he's a phenomenal player and every team wants him, except he wants to be a Yankee and he is going to make that happen. When Chase gets trade to the Yankees and meets the gorgeous long-legged blonde, he just couldn't resist. What's there not to love about this book!! The love of the sport, two people who fall in love, misunderstandings that will lead them to separate and the whole mysterious episodes of what is happening with women who resemble Ty and the whole why, when and where's and how's that are going on in this book. It was riveting, exciting, and point blank full of angst that will leave you panting in the end! I always get excited when I hear that Ms. Torre is coming out with a new book because I love, love the way she weaves her stories, always so mysterious and leaves you with a WTF at the ending and not a WTF in a bad way but a WTF in a good way :) Total 5 star read!!
